Despite numerous requests to have a fruity cinnamon roll, I tried avoiding it for a long time for the fear that it might work against the fluffy texture.
I finally pluck up my courage and manage to work on this beautiful Berry Nutty Cinnamon Roll. Tri-berries sauce of strawberry, cranberry, and blueberry is used as filling for the roll. This homemade berry sauce is made from scratch and has the best combination of sweet and tart. A generous sprinkle of nuts and seeds (pecan, almond, sunflower, walnut, pistachio, chia, flaxseed, and sesame) for texture, and the roll is topped with cranberry glaze icing. Truly this is the perfect combination of sweet and tart in taste as well as crunch and soft in texture.
Ingredients: Flour, cinnamon spice, butter, egg, muscovado sugar, instant yeast, icing sugar, milk, sea salt, strawberry, cranberry, and blueberry, pecan, almond , sunflower, walnut, pistachio, chia, flaxseed and sesame
